Our History
Timothy E. McGrath
(1955-2018)
T.E. McGrath Contracting was started 40 years ago by my Father, Timothy E. McGrath. His business began as a general contracting venture focused on small repairs. Over the years he grew in his knowledge and workmanship. He began completing full remodels, room additions and, eventually, custom home builds.
My Father passed away in February of 2018 after a short battle with cancer. Since then, I have taken over the family business, adding the LLC. As a business we have branched out to include concrete and roofing projects. Our focus is to bring our best work to each project. We take pride in every job we complete.

Cody McGrath
Cody’s work in construction started as an apprentice to his dad Tim McGrath from Cody’s earliest memories. Together they did roofing, plumbing, electrical, room additions, and custom home builds. Cody has worked hard to continue his education getting his AHIT [American Home Inspections Training] certification and attending trade expos. Because of this, Cody works side-by-side with subcontractors and can quickly identify quality methods and remove those that are less than desirable. His expectations are high on every type of a home’s project, and with his extensive knowledge and background experience, those who work for him respect his knowledge and meet his standards. Even after many years in the contracting industry every part of the process continues to inspire him, but the most enjoyable part of his profession is the former customers that have become some of his closest friends.

They completely renovated our basement and it is now a fully functional second living space with a full bathroom and beautiful custom made bar. We have also used them to replace an exterior door, patch a leak in the roof and rebuild an interior wall that was damaged from the roof leak. Very reliable, dependable, and courteous. The absolute best!
